Two weeks is usually a good amount of time to take off work for most patients, though some return to work sooner than that. Understanding your body and its ability to heal can help you judge how much time you’ll need, though we always recommend taking off more time than you think you may need.
When can I start exercising again?
We recommend that you rest and stay away from the gym for around three weeks after your facelift procedure. Your physician will keep up with you and discuss with you when you are ready to resume exercise. Allowing your body to heal properly before resuming exercise can prevent complications and keep the healing process optimal.
