Dr Samual Lin corrected a lack of facial symmetry issue due to a poor result from plastic surgery. His expertise and skills provided facial symmetry and made me feel confident of my appearance. In addition he corrected a deviated septum which allows me to enjoy a good night sleep, which I am forever grateful.

I’m very grateful for the opportunity to learn from Dr. Lin! Dr. Lin presented all the materials and answered all my questions very clearly, and I especially loved the surgery videos which are very well-presented and to me felt like I was watching the live surgery. I truly learned a whole lot from the course, from the fundamentals of plastic surgery to the most interesting novel techniques and I feel like this course not only opened my eyes but also set me on my path as an aspiring plastic surgeon. As a medical student with long-standing nasal congestion, I was wary about getting a procedure done before trying medications first. I did not find too much relief from the nasal sprays and eventually sought Dr. Lin out from a trusted referral. His office was organized and usually very responsive, and I went to see him for 2 visits before the surgery itself. I appreciated Dr. Lin's bedside manner and he did not push any particular procedure on me before I made my own decision. I eventually decided to get surgery at BIDMC with Dr. Lin, and my patient care experience was as smooth as possible. I am now finished with the recovery period, and am so happy that I decided to go through the process! I had an anatomical problem that only surgery could fix, and I am thankful to Dr. Lin for guiding me through a stressful and time-sensitive journey!

After being treated extremely well by Dr. Lin and his staff at BIDMC, I highly recommend anyone considering to have a breast reduction. After having 4 children and dealing with chronic neck and back pain, I decided to have the surgery. Dr. Lin and his staff from the beginning have been very informative and attentive to any of my concerns and needs. I could have not picked a better surgeon and a better team to care for me. I can say with the biggest smile on my face since the surgery I have no neck pain and no back pain, but also that I have better self esteem because not only am I able to do more but that my shirts fit better and I look better as well. Dr. Lin is the best. After going to Beth Israel's Cancer Center, I was referred to Dr. Lin and spoke with them (was a scary time of course ) . Everyone from 2 employees at the desk including Stacy these days, to nurses & physician's assistants, " everyone" has treated me so well. And kept me calm. All of the staff there is very polite. They were great to answer all my questions, results of surgeries were really great. This is a supportive team that I visit once a year - for 5 years - and it is this team I praise so much who helps me move forward. My experience with Dr. Lin’s plastic surgery virtual telehealth rotation has been invaluable. I had an amazing time learning from Dr. Lin who, from day 1, showed impeccable professionalism and an eager enthusiasm towards teaching. I found myself at ease with Dr. Lin and learned a great deal of plastic surgery. The course, in fact, not only lays a solid foundation on the principles of reconstructive surgery but also dives deep into the vast subfields of burn, craniofacial, head and neck, hand and lower extremity, breast, aesthetic and gender affirmation surgery. I cannot stress enough how this rotation shaped me into a better, well-rounded physician and how grateful I am for the precious time spent with Dr. Lin. I believe this experience was crucial in leading me towards pursuing plastic surgery as my residency choice and I now consider myself even more determined to match into this fascinating field. I will look up to Dr. Lin as an example for my future career. It is once in a lifetime opportunity to learn from such talented and yet humble plastic surgeon as Dr. Lin and I would highly suggest it to my fellow colleagues.

I had a breast reduction surgery done by Dr. Lin and I am absolutely thrilled with the results! Having surgery scheduled during a pandemic was concerning but the office was great with communication and reassuring all of their safety practices. His support staff is very easy to deal with and very friendly. They made me feel so comfortable in my decision by always answering any questions or concerns I had. They all go above and beyond for their patients. They even worked with my insurance to get the approval after it was rejected. I highly recommend Dr. Lin and his team for any of your surgical needs, he is experienced and definitely knows what he is doing

Went thru a tedious health questionnaire via a number I had to call first in order to schedule a consultation for plastic surgery. Took at least 20 minutes. Two months later the office calls me to tell me my upcoming appointment will be canceled if I don’t register first. Jesus Christ. Someone somewhere is incompetent. And this is not normal. I’ve decided to explore other options and nobody is requiring me to call some separate number to be “registered”.

Dr. Lin has such a great personality that you will like him immediately! He listens to and cares about what you are thinking and offers the optimal options for each patient. It has been a great pleasure for me to get to know him. He is definitely the surgeon you gonna choose when it comes to rhinoplasty or breast reconstruction;)
