I became a patient of Dr. Lin’s when I was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer and needed a mastectomy. At the time of my mastectomy, Dr. Lin put in a tissue expander. I came to his clinic weekly to get saline fills in the tissue expander. In early January, Dr Lin replaced the expander with an implant and reduced the size of my other breast. I can’t say enough about my treatment from Dr. Lin and his staff. Dr. Lin Is not only a great surgeon, who spent a lot of time with me planning my surgeries but he is very kind and reassuring . Callie, his PA and Brooke, an administrator were so warm and welcoming. I know they have my back at all times. I always felt comfortable coming to the office. Any time I called in with a question, I got very speedy helpful answers.

At BIDMC, the doctors, nurses, technicians, and all the staff have been instrumental in my breast cancer journey and recovery. I came to seek medical care for breast cancer and surgery and from the moment I arrived I felt as if I was reassured, and embraced as if I was with caring family, always warm, caring, and compassionate. It has been a team effort and everyone here treats me personally and cares for me, and has answered all my concerns and questions. It is wonderful to find after many dead end experiences in past in medical care a professional and thorough medical hospital as dedicated and warm as you have been. Dr. Lin and staff were amazing! They were very caring and communicated clearly from pre-op to post-op. They were always available and answered every question I threw at them. If you are looking for a place to get a plastic surgery in Boston this is the clinic to do so.

Dr Lin and staff are incredible and so easy to work with! My only regret is not having my deviated septum surgery done years ago. Not sure if it was pure luck but I had zero pain post op and the recovery process was so easy, even having the splints in for 9 days wasn't nearly as bad as I anticipated. I highly encourage anyone looking to have this done to schedule an appt with Dr Lin - it is SO worth it!! You won't regret it once you can breathe better!!

When other doctors turned me away, Dr. Lin was willing to help. During the pandemic, I developed difficulty breathing. It turned out to be serious, requiring septoplasty and turbinate reduction. After years of problematic symptoms, I was so lucky to find Dr. Lin's office, where his caring and supportive assistants helped me through what to many might be a scary process. I can say that the impact has been immeasurable. My breathing has dramatically improved and my quality of life, cognition, and daily functioning is back in a way I had forgotten was possible. Dr Lin's assistants were amazing and his whole office provided such a pleasant experience. If you need help with this issue, do not delay in seeking out support from his office. It is worth it!

Dr Lin is an honest and truthful Doctor he really help me to lose my weight natural and very healthy. It has been 10 years that I have kept my weight down and eating right. Please listen to him he is the truth and he is always going to tell you the real. Please do not take any medication it is possible I have lost 155lbs and I feel great. As someone with both year round allergies and a deviated septum with nasal valve collapse- I was dealing with sinus infections all the time as well as nasal pain. In addition to the pain I was getting much less oxygen through my nose than needed. When I had finally had enough and started my journey to getting it fixed, an ENT recommended surgery. Obviously surgery is a big deal so I did tons of research before landing on a place to go and have my initial consultation. Right off the bat the staff at the BIDMC plastic surgery department were so friendly and informative I felt very comfortable. Once I met Dr. Lin I knew I was going to go through with the surgery and really improve my quality of life. He made me feel validated in my pain and made a clear plan of action. I couldn't recommend him anymore. I am 5 weeks post op now and can already feel a huge difference in my nose. Thank you Dr. Lin and staff!! Update: Just had my six month check in post surgery and I couldn't be happier with the results! I am breathing so much better and have healed perfectly. Thank you Dr. Lin and team!!
