I had a closed rhinoplasty with Dr. Lin to smooth a sharp, bony bump on my nose bridge, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Dr. Lin is by far the best doctor I’ve ever been to, he truly listens and makes the process as easy and comfortable as possible. He is very skilled and his team is incredible: Brooke was so friendly and explained every detail for billing/logistics, Jaimie the nurse was so amazing and comforting, and the anesthesiologist was also very nice and calming (especially impressive since I’m terrified of needles). I was nervous going in, but they all made me feel completely safe and cared for. The surgery itself was smooth, and my recovery was almost unbelievably easy - I had no pain, minimal swelling, barely any bruising, and only needed two Tylenols total. Dr. Lin and his team truly advocate for their patients. They worked around my busy schedule and even stepped in to help resolve a hospital billing error on my behalf. It’s rare to find a doctor and team who genuinely care this much and I couldn't recommend them more.

I was thrilled to get to work with Dr Lin. My experience overall was easy, supportive and all my questions were answered all throughout the process. Even when I changed the areas I wanted to focus on, Dr Lin and team made that switch seamless and accomplished all my goals. I had two major procedures done and my results were exactly as described. To begin my left nostril was 95% blocked. A great effort was required to blow my nose. Irrigate with saline, block right nostril and blow and rinse for several minutes. After much research I chose Dr. Samuel Lin to correct the problem with septoplasty and other procedures. 8 days after surgery, nasal splints are removed. The result are immediate relief and clear breathing through my nose for first time in a couple years. I followed the doctors protocol of saline rinsing, no blowing my nose, and not submerging under water. Also avoided pressure on nose or wearing glasses. My experience was life changing. I can breath freely and walking and running is easier. Sleep is vastly improved. I also had a mass at the back of my nose Dr. Lin observed and removed knowing it that would improve my breathing also. I had post nasal drip that is almost completely resolved also. Possibly from removal of the mass. I am thankful I chose Dr. Lin for my surgery. The staff here at Beth Israel Deaconess plastic surgery have all been helpful. Every minor irritant would cause my nose to clog up. Mowing the lawn and walking or driving in exhaust filled traffic. I have none of those issues now. I suggest following Dr. Lin's protocols for recovery to the letter for a completely successful outcome.

Very amazing doctor! had a breathing issue and had previous surgery with another doctor but the issue wasn’t corrected. Dr.Lin understood my concerns and did an amazing job. He got rid of my bump and fixed my breathing issue.

I had been struggling with breathing issues for quite some time and had already undergone two septoplasties in the past. When I met Dr. Lin, he was confident that he could improve my airflow and breathing. He performed my third septoplasty and placed a Latera prosthetic, and I am now able to breathe freely without obstruction. The entire process was smooth, and the nurses and staff were also wonderful, professional, attentive, and caring. I am very grateful for the excellent care I received from Dr. Lin and his team.

Dr. Lin and his team were phenomenal. They always answered all my questions and made me feel comfortable and reassured. The use of the nurses phone line before and after my procedure was extremely helpful when I had questions or concerns. I would highly recommend Dr. Lin for his skill, professionalism, and kindness.

Dr. Lin performed an abdominal scar revision for me following multiple laparotomies and a complex abdominal closure. Despite modest expectations that were set ahead of time, Dr. Lin successfully removed all visible scar tethering and was able to make the scar significantly narrower and less uncomfortable. I found him to be generous with his time. Most importantly, however, Dr. Lin is clearly a talented surgeon and I'd recommend him to others without reservation. It may be easier to get on his schedule in BIDN than in Boston - I was able to do that and was happy in Needham.

I had a terrific experience with my staged breast reduction and bilateral mastectomy with reconstruction at this practice. The staff at the front desk, the nurses, PAs and Dr. Lin took excellent care of me through multiple procedures.
