Dr. Lin performed a septorhinoplasty and I am about a month and a half post operation. I am so happy with the results, cosmetically and functionally. I cannot recommend him enough. Doctor Lin was very informative throughout the whole process, he called night before surgery to check on how I was doing. He and his team made me feel very comfortable and well taken care of. I would highly recommend him. 6 month update, recovery has gone great no issues. The surgery has turned out exactly how I had hoped it would. He has always been available by phone when any questions have arised. Days before the surgery I was very nervous, Doctor Lin and his team made me feel comfortable and confident, If I had to do the surgery all over again I would choose Doctor Lin again.

I have a connective tissue disease, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, and had had two prior nose surgeries performed in New York that left me with an untreated deviated septum and a crooked, projected nose that made me unhappy. After a lot of research and several consults with different doctors, I decided to pursue surgery with Dr. Lin. I couldn’t be happier with my results! I can finally breathe, and even after being just six weeks post-op, I am so happy with the appearance of my nose. I feel like I still look like me, but now the new and improved version! When I came to Dr. Lin I expressed that I was nervous about having had two prior surgeries that yielded unwanted results, and that I wanted things to go well this time. I brought in pictures of myself that I had modified using an app, to show him what I wanted my nose to look like, even brought in a reversal mirror (mirror that shows you what you look like to other people–he appreciated the mirror lol), and he always took the time to go over all of my questions for as long as I needed, whether it be for an in-person or telephone appointment. The night before my surgery he even called me to see how I was feeling and to answer any questions I had. And right before I went into the operating room he was so reassuring and soothing and made sure to review one last time what the surgical plan was. Dr. Lin is brilliant, an artist, a class act, and I can’t recommend him enough! Even my stepson plans to see him at the beginning of next year for correction of a deviated septum. Last but not least, his office and clinical team are top notch and the process of scheduling appointments, payment, post-op care and receiving assistance via the nurse’s line, were handled so efficiently. Everyone was so kind. I wish all of my medical care and prior surgeries were handled this way. Dr. Lin and his team are the best! I am so happy with how everything turned out. Each month, I appreciate the functional and aesthetic improvements more and more. Despite my challenges with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and two previous unsuccessful surgeries, Dr. Lin’s expertise has transformed my experience. I can breathe easily and feel confident in my appearance, which feels like a true enhancement of my natural self. I also greatly appreciate the time Dr. Lin spends during my check-up appointments, where he answers all of my questions thoroughly and provides valuable insights about my progress. Seamless process from start to finish. Every team member that I came across made me feel comfortable and listened to. Surgery was quick and I am thrilled with the outcome. I no longer have upper back, shoulder and neck pain. My only regret is being so scared to start the process. Would do it again in a heartbeat.

My experience at BIMDC with Dr. Lin has been extremely amazing throughout my procedure. I had a breast reduction in late January and every step of the way has been super informative and helpful. I immediately felt shoulder and back relief post-op and was able to be back at my hands-on job 6 weeks after surgery. I work in a facility where I am required to lift up to 40 lbs on the daily and also continuously walk up and down stairs. I was more than comfortable returning thanks to the reassurance and guidance provided. The healing process went by well and I always knew I could reach out for any questions. It was such an amazing experience and I would recommend Dr. Lin to anyone interested. updated 11/2024: with now being 9 months post-op, my overall experience with BIDMC and recovery has been nothing less than perfect. I have healed so well from my procedure and from sharing my experience with other individuals who have gotten a breast reduction, I know that I am very lucky.
