The reason I want to write you this card is to thank you for all you’ve done for me, during this journey in my life. But now that I’ve started to write about my gratitude, I realize that I can’t really think of words that are sufficient to convey my thankfulness. This time has been so scary for me, and your compassion and kindness toward me has been so reassuring and soothing. I can’t even tell you how much it’s meant to me. The patience and good humor you displayed in reading my letters prior to my surgery….Obviously, I have control issues! Even though I’m the patient, and you are the doctor, you always make me feel that I’m part of the team. I’m sure that in this career of yours you have come to grasp an understanding of what a woman’s breasts can mean to her; they are a somewhat sacred part of her body and self. I don’t think I even understood this until I was faced with having mine removed, due to cancer. The option of reconstruction has been one beacon of hope; the only lighthouse guiding me to a port, while I weather this storm. It’s been rough, but to carry the metaphor forward, my ship is strong, and I thank God for your light! I know I’ll be stronger at the end of all this. But what would I have done without you and your staff? I don’t know. Considering I’m having my hysterectomy next week it’s been one assault after another on my womanhood! Because of you, I know I can look forward to a future, where I’ll be having some sense of my female identity restored to me. And someday this crisis will be over, and I can help others who face the same kind of storms.
I just want you to know how pleased I am with the results of my surgery you performed in June. The results far exceed my expectations, even while I’m healing! Not only are you extremely professional, but you are caring and reassuring. I had given up hope that I would be “normal” again after the birth of my second child. You have given me a new lease on life and have restored my confidence. Your staff is wonderful and helped to add to my positive experience. Thank you again!
Words seem inadequate to express my gratitude (and amazement!) for what you have done for me. The process was very smooth. Everyone were very nice and caring. Made sure I feel okay before and after the surgery. All staff, including Dr. Lin, were very gentle and kept my privacy throughout the whole process. I’m very pleased with the results and the scar is not as visible as I thought it will be. So far it looks aesthetic and flat.
I had a really wonderful experience with Dr. Lin. He is absolutely amazing and I felt really heard throughout my entire experience! I would highly recommend him as a surgeon! At 6 months, everything has been going super well!
the first thing is the choice we made was right; started from the front desk. the girls was very helpful and caring. Dr. Lin is amazing since the first meeting. I can’t say enough about my experience with Dr. Lin and staff. I has a double mastectomy and implant reconstruction about five years ago and had some complications with one of my implants. I loved my surgeon at that time, but he relocated to another city. I came to see Dr. Lin based on glowing recommendations that I read…everywhere! Great experience from start to finish: I was able to get in for a consult fairly quickly and schedule my surgery in a timely manner as well. All of the nurses, residents, and staff were friendly, well-informed, and took time to answer my questions and concerns about my surgery, scheduling was easy, calls answered promptly, and (it’s a small thing comparatively) but the location and parking were easy versus the charade at many other city hospitals. Dr. Lin has a wonderful bedside manner to go along with his skills as a surgeon…which isn’t always the case! Very easy to talk to and approachable, Imy appointments never felt rushed, never kept me waiting, and he anticipated and allayed all of my concerns about the procedure. Most importantly I am thrilled with my results and so glad I stopped putting off this revision surgery. If you are looked for a great doctor and staff, look no further. In a town full of excellent options for medical care, I would definitely come back to Dr. Lin in the future should the need arise.
Great experience with doctor Lynn, did not experience anything I wasn’t told for recovery. The first week after surgery is rough but after the splints are out breathing is improved greatly. Some drainage also happens throughout healing but nothing that hurts. No severe pain throughout the entire process as long as saline rinse and proper care is done. Overall great experience.
