The reason I want to write you this card is to thank you for all you’ve done for me, during this journey in my life. But now that I’ve started to write about my gratitude, I realize that I can’t really think of words that are sufficient to convey my thankfulness. This time has been so scary for me, and your compassion and kindness toward me has been so reassuring and soothing. I can’t even tell you how much it’s meant to me. The patience and good humor you displayed in reading my letters prior to my surgery….Obviously, I have control issues! Even though I’m the patient, and you are the doctor, you always make me feel that I’m part of the team. I’m sure that in this career of yours you have come to grasp an understanding of what a woman’s breasts can mean to her; they are a somewhat sacred part of her body and self. I don’t think I even understood this until I was faced with having mine removed, due to cancer. The option of reconstruction has been one beacon of hope; the only lighthouse guiding me to a port, while I weather this storm. It’s been rough, but to carry the metaphor forward, my ship is strong, and I thank God for your light! I know I’ll be stronger at the end of all this. But what would I have done without you and your staff? I don’t know. Considering I’m having my hysterectomy next week it’s been one assault after another on my womanhood! Because of you, I know I can look forward to a future, where I’ll be having some sense of my female identity restored to me. And someday this crisis will be over, and I can help others who face the same kind of storms.
I just want you to know how pleased I am with the results of my surgery you performed in June. The results far exceed my expectations, even while I’m healing! Not only are you extremely professional, but you are caring and reassuring. I had given up hope that I would be “normal” again after the birth of my second child. You have given me a new lease on life and have restored my confidence. Your staff is wonderful and helped to add to my positive experience. Thank you again!
Words seem inadequate to express my gratitude (and amazement!) for what you have done for me. It’s been a long journey, and it takes even longer for esteem and body image to catch up with the physical changes. Thank you for being such a compassionate surgeon. I had been struggling with breathing issues for quite some time and had already undergone two septoplasties in the past. When I met Dr. Lin, he was confident that he could improve my airflow and breathing. He performed my third septoplasty and placed a Latera prosthetic, and I am now able to breathe freely without obstruction. The entire process was smooth, and the nurses and staff were also wonderful, professional, attentive, and caring. I am very grateful for the excellent care I received from Dr. Lin and his team.
Dr. Lin and his team have given me the best experience. Everyone from Office Manager Phyllis, the office staff, PAs and training Fellows, to the people at Beth Israel Hospital Surgery were always available to answer questions and offer reassurance. I wish I could remember everyone’s name to say thank-you. Danita and Brook are awesome managers. Helpful in everyway with questions and appointments. Jamie, RN is the best at everything from photography to keeping you and your records updated.
Dr. Lin and his team were phenomenal. They always answered all my questions and made me feel comfortable and reassured. The use of the nurses phone line before and after my procedure was extremely helpful when I had questions or concerns. I would highly recommend Dr. Lin for his skill, professionalism, and kindness.
Dr. Lin performed an abdominal scar revision for me following multiple laparotomies and a complex abdominal closure. Despite modest expectations that were set ahead of time, Dr. Lin successfully removed all visible scar tethering and was able to make the scar significantly narrower and less uncomfortable. I found him to be generous with his time. Most importantly, however, Dr. Lin is clearly a talented surgeon and I’d recommend him to others without reservation. It may be easier to get on his schedule in BIDN than in Boston – I was able to do that and was happy in Needham.
I had a terrific experience with my staged breast reduction and bilateral mastectomy with reconstruction at this practice. The staff at the front desk, the nurses, PAs and Dr. Lin took excellent care of me through multiple procedures. I’d recommend this team and Beth Israel to anyone in my position. thank you to a great team!
I had a breathing problem for many years, finally a doctor addressed my issue Dr Lin did my septoplasty surgery, the surgery went smooth and Dr.lin, and his staff were great addressing my questions before and during the healing proces. now 6 weeks post surgery, i came in for my check up and everything look great I don’t usually place a review but i am happy how the procedure went and want to share my story
The most caring staff! I was treated with respect and dignity throughout the process it was a total partnership. My needs were always top priority. Thank you to Cally and the entire staff for always being the best cheerleaders. It is a journey and was glad that I had Dr. Lin as my doctor and guide.
Dr Lin was a lifesaver, I couldn’t breathe at all out of my nose and he did a procedure and I can breathe again it’s amazing! I have started running again because it’s just made such a huge difference. I highly recommend Dr. Lynn for any nasal surgery.
