The reason I want to write you this card is to thank you for all you’ve done for me, during this journey in my life. But now that I’ve started to write about my gratitude, I realize that I can’t really think of words that are sufficient to convey my thankfulness. This time has been so scary for me, and your compassion and kindness toward me has been so reassuring and soothing. I can’t even tell you how much it’s meant to me. The patience and good humor you displayed in reading my letters prior to my surgery….Obviously, I have control issues! Even though I’m the patient, and you are the doctor, you always make me feel that I’m part of the team. I’m sure that in this career of yours you have come to grasp an understanding of what a woman’s breasts can mean to her; they are a somewhat sacred part of her body and self. I don’t think I even understood this until I was faced with having mine removed, due to cancer. The option of reconstruction has been one beacon of hope; the only lighthouse guiding me to a port, while I weather this storm. It’s been rough, but to carry the metaphor forward, my ship is strong, and I thank God for your light! I know I’ll be stronger at the end of all this. But what would I have done without you and your staff? I don’t know. Considering I’m having my hysterectomy next week it’s been one assault after another on my womanhood! Because of you, I know I can look forward to a future, where I’ll be having some sense of my female identity restored to me. And someday this crisis will be over, and I can help others who face the same kind of storms.
I just want you to know how pleased I am with the results of my surgery you performed in June. The results far exceed my expectations, even while I’m healing! Not only are you extremely professional, but you are caring and reassuring. I had given up hope that I would be “normal” again after the birth of my second child. You have given me a new lease on life and have restored my confidence. Your staff is wonderful and helped to add to my positive experience. Thank you again!
Words seem inadequate to express my gratitude (and amazement!) for what you have done for me. I highly recommend Dr. Samuel Lin for breast reduction. This was a procedure I had been wanting since my teenage years about 25 years ago. I am so happy with how all steps in the process went from my initial consultation to my most recent 6 month post-op follow up. Dr. Lin and his team genuinely listened to me and what I wanted to achieve from this surgery. I can say with certainty that I am happy with my results and honestly don’t have a single concern or regret. The most challenging part of this procedure for me personally was caring for 2 young children during recovery because you are truly limited for 6 weeks and help from others is a necessity! I always felt like I was in the best hands with Dr. Lin and his staff. He is an amazing surgeon and I recommend him without hesitation.

From Beverly: Dr Sam was recommended to me by 2 of my doctors. He was without question the ABSOLUTE BEST choice for my breast reduction surgery. He listened to my desires and I am so pleased with my results. This surgery was a long time coming, something I have wanted to do for 20-25 years, but just to afraid of the surgery, the anesthesia to be specific. My neck, back pain, shoulder pain issues, as well as personal embarrassment due to the size of my breasts were something I dealt with forever. It finally became an issue I just couldn’t deal with any longer. It was now or never and as nervous as I was I knew that if I didn’t make the decision to go ahead with reduction surgery now I would forever regret it. I knew Dr. Sam was the doctor to perform this surgery. He is a perfectionist and I felt safe and secure with him as my doctor. I would tell anyone in my place thinking of having this procedure to definitely do it now . My only wish is that I did it years ago. Dr Sam is without question the best and everyone that works with him has been amazing. I cannot rave more about my experience.

My experience through my journey with breast reconstruction following mastectomy was immeasurably positive. Dr. Lin is so very kind and so greatly skilled at what he does. He set honest and realistic expectations, and helped to guide me in any decisions in the process. I have to say that I am so very happy with the final outcome.
Dr. Sam is very pleasant and personable, as well as supportive in my journey and my recovery. He did a wonderful job on my reconstructive surgery and I feel comfortable coming back if need be.
I came in with a unique ask after a few nose injuries from sports and with hopes that Dr. Lin could tweak a few things and he and the team were very accomodating, creative and precise throughout the process. I couldn’t be happier with the result!
Dr. Sam did a rhinoplasty for my daughter in August of 2020. The process was seamless from start to finish. Dr. Sam was kind, attentive and answered all of our questions both pre- and post-op. She had very little discomfort after the surgery and the recovery was quick. As for the finished product, as my daughter says, “it is a work of art”. She is so pleased with the outcome.
