Thank you for the terrific care you’ve provided me. Your calm demeanor, realistic approach was exactly what we needed in the early days of my diagnosis. The meticulous work that you performed leaves us forever in your debt. Your skills and those of your team are amazing! Best wishes to you and yours for a Merry Christmas and a healthy, happy New Year.
The reason I want to write you this card is to thank you for all you’ve done for me, during this journey in my life. But now that I’ve started to write about my gratitude, I realize that I can’t really think of words that are sufficient to convey my thankfulness. This time has been so scary for me, and your compassion and kindness toward me has been so reassuring and soothing. I can’t even tell you how much it’s meant to me. The patience and good humor you displayed in reading my letters prior to my surgery….Obviously, I have control issues! Even though I’m the patient, and you are the doctor, you always make me feel that I’m part of the team. I’m sure that in this career of yours you have come to grasp an understanding of what a woman’s breasts can mean to her; they are a somewhat sacred part of her body and self. I don’t think I even understood this until I was faced with having mine removed, due to cancer. The option of reconstruction has been one beacon of hope; the only lighthouse guiding me to a port, while I weather this storm. It’s been rough, but to carry the metaphor forward, my ship is strong, and I thank God for your light! I know I’ll be stronger at the end of all this. But what would I have done without you and your staff? I don’t know. Considering I’m having my hysterectomy next week it’s been one assault after another on my womanhood! Because of you, I know I can look forward to a future, where I’ll be having some sense of my female identity restored to me. And someday this crisis will be over, and I can help others who face the same kind of storms.
I just want you to know how pleased I am with the results of my surgery you performed in June. The results far exceed my expectations, even while I’m healing! Not only are you extremely professional, but you are caring and reassuring. I had given up hope that I would be “normal” again after the birth of my second child. You have given me a new lease on life and have restored my confidence. Your staff is wonderful and helped to add to my positive experience. Thank you again!
Words seem inadequate to express my gratitude (and amazement!) for what you have done for me. It’s been a long journey, and it takes even longer for esteem and body image to catch up with the physical changes. Thank you for being such a compassionate surgeon. Your extraordinary skills and caring are a rare combination. I hope you can instill both in surgeons you are teaching.
At this season on thanksgiving, I wanted to express my deepest gratitude to you. You have an uncommon combination of great surgical skill and confidence with humble and gentle connection with patients. I feel very lucky to be one of your patients! From my first consultation with you, I knew that you listened to me and instilled confidence by your knowing just how to proceed. I know that you have many successful years ahead. I wish you in those years to go from strength to even greater strength.
Thank you for all your concern and excellent work on my behalf. I hope this new year brings continued health and happiness to you and your family.
Want to thank you Dr. Lin for all you have done; you and your team for me back in June. You were all wonderful!
Wishing you all a joyous and healthy holiday season! Thanks for taking such great care of me-I feel so fortunate to be in the hands of the best!
Thank you for all you did for Katie.
Thank you for your caring ways. Your kindness and gentle manner helped to put me and my family at ease. Your expertise is also very much appreciated. Please enjoy this pen made out of jade. It is supposed to bring good luck.
Thank you so much for the excellent care.
Merry Christmas and a very happy and healthy year! Thank you for all of your wonderful care! I feel so blessed to have found you and your wonderful staff to help get me through this ordeal. There is truly a sense of peace that is felt with the care you all provide! God bless you all and your families!

Dr. Lin and his staff were kind and welcoming. I had a blocked sinus on one side due to a broken nose. I opted for a septoplasty. He took his time to make sure I understood what the procedure entailed. After the surgery, the nurses mentioned that Dr. Lin is careful with his surgeries and does not rush through procedures, which is not the case with all surgeons. I had almost no pain after the surgery and am now able to breathe readily from both nostrils. I heard from other friends’ experience and it was not the same as mine. Would suggest Dr. Lin to others considering nose surgery.
Had a septoplasty in June 2024 to repair a deviated septum. Dr. Lin and his team were excellent. Great bedside manner and really responsive and helpful to any concerns and issues. Would highly recommend to anyone with nasal issues to come see Dr. Lin. Special shoutout to Calley Lynch, his PA, who always made me feel super comfortable and supported.
After going through breast cancer treatment; I wanted to feel normal again and I wanted to like the reflection staring back at me in the mirror. Dr. Lin came highly recommended by two former patients. Well…..he did not disappoint. The entire process from initial consult to pre-treatment conversations, to pre-op marking, to OR to post op checkups was top notch and caring. His office staff is helpful and kind. I would do it all over again! I couldn’t be more thrilled with the outcome. Thank You for putting Humpty back together again!!!! 6 month update: So happy with my continued healing and results. A couple of my scars are almost invisible and the others are well on their way. Dr. Lin and his office continue to be supportive in their check-ins and have already taken care of a couple of my friends who I referred to him. Now that summer is here, I’m not hiding behind a bathing suit cover-up any longer 🙂
Several procedures to straighten a deviated septum (the tip actually pointed to the east) and solve the snoring that kept my husband awake at night failed. My nasal problem seemed to be something I would have to live with forever, sadly. After thirty years I was still suffering and at my wits end because my nose would bleed from blowing it too frequently, trying to unblock my nose to breathe… My once ethnically shaped nose was “no more” and rather weird-looking AND it didn’t even work properly. I needed help!!! After visiting several surgeons, Dr. Samuel Lin, MD, FACS was so attentive to my story and seemed to understand the impact this situation was having on my physical and mental health. I will forever have a grateful heart because Dr. Lin was able to repair a perforated and deviated septic. I can now breathe and no longer feel camera shy with my natural-looking nose – I can smile and honestly say that this is the nose I should have been born with, lol!!! Thank you, Dr. Lin :))
I am so pleased with my reconstructive surgery with Dr. Lin. The best thing about the whole procedure is that it is your new breast is your own tissue and there is not something foreign in your body. Dr. Lin is a great surgeon and a very good communicator throughout the whole process and his staff are also very attentive. No question ever seems silly or stupid they help you through with whatever you need. I am so happy I made the decision I made for the reconstruction of a new breast!
Samuel Lin was a great doctor. He fixed my broken nose completely. The healing process was extremely quick and I recommend him to anyone needing nasal surgery.
Dr. Lin and his team were instrumental in my decision to have an elective double-mastectomy due to my high risk of breast cancer. Everyone in his office was extremely informative and sensitive to my physical and emotional needs throughout the entire pre-and postoperative process. In fact, as I was being wheeled into the OR, I specifically remember Dr. Lin’s kind and confident demeanor. My surgery went well and my flat-closure healed nicely without any complications. I returned to work in two weeks (even though I was approved for six week’s leave) and felt good as new in less than two months. I am forever grateful for Dr. Lin’s care and his thorough alignment with the entire surgical team.
I had a fairly large lipoma removed from my neck in May. I was a bit nervous when arriving but the nurses and staff were incredibly kind and supportive. Dr. Lin met with me a few minutes before surgery, explained the procedure, and assured me it would go well. All went exceptionally well and I’ve healed very nicely. I feel great about myself no longer having this large lipoma on my neck. The scar is fairly small and has healed really well. I completely recommend Dr. Lin and his staff to anyone seeking surgery.
