The reason I want to write you this card is to thank you for all you’ve done for me, during this journey in my life. But now that I’ve started to write about my gratitude, I realize that I can’t really think of words that are sufficient to convey my thankfulness. This time has been so scary for me, and your compassion and kindness toward me has been so reassuring and soothing. I can’t even tell you how much it’s meant to me. The patience and good humor you displayed in reading my letters prior to my surgery….Obviously, I have control issues! Even though I’m the patient, and you are the doctor, you always make me feel that I’m part of the team. I’m sure that in this career of yours you have come to grasp an understanding of what a woman’s breasts can mean to her; they are a somewhat sacred part of her body and self. I don’t think I even understood this until I was faced with having mine removed, due to cancer. The option of reconstruction has been one beacon of hope; the only lighthouse guiding me to a port, while I weather this storm. It’s been rough, but to carry the metaphor forward, my ship is strong, and I thank God for your light! I know I’ll be stronger at the end of all this. But what would I have done without you and your staff? I don’t know. Considering I’m having my hysterectomy next week it’s been one assault after another on my womanhood! Because of you, I know I can look forward to a future, where I’ll be having some sense of my female identity restored to me. And someday this crisis will be over, and I can help others who face the same kind of storms.
I just want you to know how pleased I am with the results of my surgery you performed in June. The results far exceed my expectations, even while I’m healing! Not only are you extremely professional, but you are caring and reassuring. I had given up hope that I would be “normal” again after the birth of my second child. You have given me a new lease on life and have restored my confidence. Your staff is wonderful and helped to add to my positive experience. Thank you again!
Words seem inadequate to express my gratitude (and amazement!) for what you have done for me. The process was very smooth. Dr. Lin spent a lot of time answering all my questions. The recovery was much easier than expected, and the staff was amazing in the recovery room. All of the staff were open to answering questions, and reassuring any worries about the upcoming surgery. 6 month update: Happy with results, swelling has gone down like I was told. Appoints are quick and easy, no complaints. Very happy!
I had a double mastectomy with deep flap reconstruction with Dr. Lin 3 years ago. This surgery had longer recovery time than other reconstruction options, but this was a better choice for me in the long run, I wanted to avoid dealing with implants in the future. Recovery took a while, my abdomen was weak after surgery, but it was worth it. Now, 3 years later, my scars are minimal, my core strength is getting better and better, and I am still happy with my surgical choices. Dr. Lin and his team did a great job! Thank you!!
First off, working with Dr. Lin and his team was wonderful. My experience was nothing but positive. I had a very unique case with complications from a previous septoplasty due to a broken nose. I had a large buildup of scar tissue and other various issues. It took years to find a surgeon and a course to pursue. It was well worth the wait. Dr. Lin & team were insightful, kind, and made the process easy; and unsurprisingly the procedure went smoothly and the results were excellent. Huge thanks to Dr. Lin & his team. *August 6th (8 months post surgery) 8 months later and things are going great! Always a pleasure to see Dr. Lin and his team. This journey that I’ve been on for 3 years has been so positive! The doctors and staff are amazing!
I came in looking to have my deviated septum and nasal valve repaired. Before my septoplasty, I had very little air flow out of my nose. This impacted a plethora of factors in my life. I am happy to say that I can breathe out of both sides of my nose without issue now. After Dr. Lin repaired my nasal valve, my life has been completely changed. After struggling to sleep my whole life, my entire sleep experience has changed. I went from waking up 4-5 times a night to sleeping all the way through until my alarm. This has resulted in more energy throughout the day, a clearer head, and an overall more positive outlook towards life. Dr. Lin and his staff were excellent throughout this entire process, and I would recommend them to everyone I know.
Loved the staff. Everyone was so nice and attentive, making sure I was feel okay. Dr. Lin called me the night of and also met with me before my surgery to go through what he would be doing. The nurses before and after made sure I was okay at all times. Would recommend!
