The reason I want to write you this card is to thank you for all you’ve done for me, during this journey in my life. But now that I’ve started to write about my gratitude, I realize that I can’t really think of words that are sufficient to convey my thankfulness. This time has been so scary for me, and your compassion and kindness toward me has been so reassuring and soothing. I can’t even tell you how much it’s meant to me. The patience and good humor you displayed in reading my letters prior to my surgery….Obviously, I have control issues! Even though I’m the patient, and you are the doctor, you always make me feel that I’m part of the team. I’m sure that in this career of yours you have come to grasp an understanding of what a woman’s breasts can mean to her; they are a somewhat sacred part of her body and self. I don’t think I even understood this until I was faced with having mine removed, due to cancer. The option of reconstruction has been one beacon of hope; the only lighthouse guiding me to a port, while I weather this storm. It’s been rough, but to carry the metaphor forward, my ship is strong, and I thank God for your light! I know I’ll be stronger at the end of all this. But what would I have done without you and your staff? I don’t know. Considering I’m having my hysterectomy next week it’s been one assault after another on my womanhood! Because of you, I know I can look forward to a future, where I’ll be having some sense of my female identity restored to me. And someday this crisis will be over, and I can help others who face the same kind of storms.
I just want you to know how pleased I am with the results of my surgery you performed in June. The results far exceed my expectations, even while I’m healing! Not only are you extremely professional, but you are caring and reassuring. I had given up hope that I would be “normal” again after the birth of my second child. You have given me a new lease on life and have restored my confidence. Your staff is wonderful and helped to add to my positive experience. Thank you again!
Words seem inadequate to express my gratitude (and amazement!) for what you have done for me. I got a septoplasty to address nose issues associated with allergies including sinus infections. I’m glad I went to Dr. Lin. The surgery/recovery went amazingly smooth. Beforehand I had considered rhinoplasty as well and he gave his honest opinion which led me only to do septo; I imagine drs are incentivized for patients to do more surgery, so I really appreciated his honesty. One small suggestion is I didn’t hear from Dr. Lin until the post op, got call a couple days post surgery from another team member. Would’ve preferred to hear from him but practically made no difference. Besides his great reviews you can see his board certifications/accolades and Harvard association online, all very impressive. Grateful to him for his help. Otherwise, anesthesiologist and nurses at hospital day of surgery were also great. In particular I know anesthesia and pain control don’t always go smooth so not something to take for granted.
With breathing difficulties and a more complex case, my ENT doctor referred me to Dr. Lin. Just a month after surgery, my breathing improved significantly. Dr. Lin and the entire team were very thoughtful and helpful throughout the whole process. The facility is renovated, and overall, I had a very good experience.

Wonderful experience with Dr. Lin and the staff throughout treatment. Very professional and receptive to patients. My breathing has improved significantly and feels more even on both sides. Since recovering from the surgery I feel more alert and less discomfort during allergy season. I’m also very happy with the cosmetic results and can’t even tell that my nose was ever broken in the first place.

I had an amazing experience getting a septoplasty and rhinoplasty with Dr. Lin! He took his time during the consultation and pre-surgical appointments to thoroughly explain the procedure and expectations. He took a conservative approach to the cosmetic portion to the rhinoplasty, which I appreciated as I was looking for a minor change. The surgery went amazing and the recovery was seamless – I felt and looked “back to normal” almost 1 week out. I would recommend Dr. Lin and and his team to anyone! UPDATE: Just had my 1-year follow-up and I am thrilled with the results! I have improved breathing in my day-to-day as well as improved sleep. My whole life I had challenges with my breathing. The doctors I visited always reassured me that everything is just fine with my nose.
