It has been a great experience for me. My septum was severely deviated. I was getting migraines all the time. I slept only 3-4 hours a night. My blood oxygen level was consistently at a 95. Since my surgery I am sleeping through the night. My blood oxygen level is consistently at 100. I’m no longer exhausted all the time! My brain fog from lack of sleep is gone. I am no longer snoring. My cat used to wake me up several times a night. In hindsight I think it’s because I would stop breathing. Since my surgery I haven’t seen her at all at night. It was well worth having this procedure!

As someone with both year round allergies and a deviated septum with nasal valve collapse- I was dealing with sinus infections all the time as well as nasal pain. In addition to the pain I was getting much less oxygen through my nose than needed. When I had finally had enough and started my journey to getting it fixed, an ENT recommended surgery. Obviously surgery is a big deal so I did tons of research before landing on a place to go and have my initial consultation. Right off the bat the staff at the BIDMC plastic surgery department were so friendly and informative I felt very comfortable. Once I met Dr. Lin I knew I was going to go through with the surgery and really improve my quality of life. He made me feel validated in my pain and made a clear plan of action. I couldn’t recommend him anymore. I am 5 weeks post op now and can already feel a huge difference in my nose. Thank you Dr. Lin and staff!! I recently had a neck lift with Dr Lin .
